For workers
How much does it cost to use Vacanta?
For workers it’s completely free, always. We never charge you to browse jobs, apply, or be presented to an employer.
Do I need an account to apply?
No. You can apply in under a minute without signing up. Afterwards you get a private link to track your application status — no passwords to remember.
How long until I hear back?
Our team reviews every application. If your profile matches a role, we get in touch in days, not weeks. Applying doesn’t guarantee an interview or a hire — each employer makes its own decision.
How do I track my application?
With the private link we send you when you apply, or by logging into your dashboard. We also notify you by email and WhatsApp when there’s an update.
Do I have to upload my ID?
Only for some transport roles, where we ask for an ID or licence to verify your identity. That document is stored in isolation and permanently deleted within 72 hours.
Is Vacanta my employer?
No. Vacanta is an intermediary that connects you with hotels, resorts and restaurants. The employment relationship, salary and conditions are agreed directly between you and the employer.
For employers
How are employers charged?
You pay on results: a placement commission only when you hire a candidate we refer. No posting fees, no upfront costs. Amounts are agreed in a separate placement contract.
Does my company name appear publicly?
Never. An employer’s name never appears in a public ad, listing or URL. Vacancies are described anonymously (property type, area and role) until an agreement is signed. You recruit in full discretion.
How do you ensure candidate quality?
Every candidate and vacancy is reviewed by a human before we connect the two sides. You get a vetted shortlist, not hundreds of CVs to sift through.
What about roles that are already filled?
Our platform updates itself: we post new vacancies daily and automatically close the ones already filled. What you see is always live.
How do I get started as an employer?
Tell us your vacancy from the “For employers” page and our team will get in touch. We already work with hotels and restaurants across Mexico’s top destinations.
Privacy & trust
What do you do with my personal data?
We protect your data under Mexican law (LFPDPPP) and the GDPR. It’s stored securely on servers in the European Union and never sold. Your phone number is never visible to an employer until there’s a genuine match.
Can I delete my information?
Yes. You can exercise your access, rectification, cancellation and objection (ARCO) rights, or ask us to delete your profile, by writing to privacidad@vacanta.mx.

We focus on tourism and hospitality across Mexico’s top destinations — Cancún, the Riviera Maya, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico City and more — in kitchen, service, front office, housekeeping, spa, activities, transport and more.
