Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 7 July 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Vacanta platform. By accessing or using Vacanta, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the platform.
1. Who we are
Vacanta is a platform operated by Recruitment Hunters Limited (registration no. 10822786, England & Wales, United Kingdom), with its registered address at Elstree House, Watson's Yard, High Street, Cottenham, Cambridge, CB24 8RX, United Kingdom. In these terms, “Vacanta”, “we” or “the platform” refer to that company.
2. What Vacanta is
Vacanta is a recruitment and intermediation service that connects workers in the tourism and hospitality sector with employers in Mexico. We review applications, build shortlists and present candidates to employers.
Vacanta is not an employer and is not a party to the employment relationship between a worker and an employer. We do not guarantee hiring, a salary, or the availability of any particular vacancy.
3. Who can use Vacanta
To use Vacanta you must be of legal working age and provide truthful, complete and up-to-date information. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data and documents you submit.
4. For workers
- Using Vacanta is free for workers. We will never charge you to apply or to be presented to an employer.
- Applying does not guarantee an interview or a hire. Each employer makes its own decisions.
- The employment relationship, salary and conditions are agreed directly between you and the employer.
- We handle your data in line with the Privacy Notice. Your phone is not shared with an employer until there is a genuine match.
5. For employers
- Vacanta presents you with shortlisted candidates for your vacancies. Candidate data is confidential and may be used only for hiring purposes.
- A placement commission is charged when a candidate referred by Vacanta is hired. Amounts and conditions are set out in a separate placement agreement.
- You must not circumvent Vacanta to hire a referred candidate in order to avoid the commission. Doing so is a breach of these terms.
- You are responsible for complying with applicable employment law in your hires.
6. Our role and liability
We act solely as an intermediary. To the extent permitted by law, Vacanta is not responsible for the conduct of workers or employers, for hiring decisions, for on-the-job performance, or for the accuracy of information provided by users.
The platform is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits liabilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
7. Acceptable use
When using Vacanta, you agree not to:
- Provide false information, impersonate others, or upload documents that are not yours.
- Scrape data, or copy or reuse listings without authorisation.
- Interfere with the security or operation of the platform, or use it for unlawful purposes.
8. Intellectual property
The platform, its design, the “Vacanta” brand and the content of the listings are owned by Vacanta or its licensors. You may not use them without our written consent.
9. Data and privacy
The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Notice, which forms part of these terms.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the platform if these terms or the law are breached. You may stop using Vacanta and request deletion of your profile at any time.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions. The current version will always be published on this page with its update date. Continued use of the platform means you accept the changes.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of Mexico with respect to users located in Mexico, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection and data-protection provisions that may apply. Nothing in this clause affects the rights the law grants you.
