Activities Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily activities program for resort guests — pool games, beach volleyball, aqua aerobics, dance classes, cooking demonstrations, craft workshops
• Host and animate all activities with high energy, clear communication, and genuine guest engagement
• Coordinate with entertainment, sports, and F&B teams on program logistics
• Adapt programming to guest demographics — families, couples, adults-only, mixed groups
• Manage activity equipment and supply inventory
• Promote upcoming activities to guests throughout the day
• Coordinate evening entertainment setup and themed event programming
• Bilingual hosting — Spanish and English essential in Cancún's North American market

Requirements

• 1–3 years resort activities, animation, or entertainment experience
• High energy, genuine enthusiasm, and comfort in public hosting role
• Excellent English — Cancún resort guests are predominantly North American
• Physical fitness — activities coordinator role is highly physical throughout full shift
• Creative and adaptable — programming must respond to guest mood and participation levels

About the role

The activities coordinator who fills that availability with genuinely fun, well-executed programming — who gets 40 guests laughing at a poolside game at 11am — has done something that feeds the entire resort's atmosphere for the rest of the day.
