Cultural Activities & Eco-Tour Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Yucatán Peninsula guest activity programming — Chichén Itzá and Uxmal dawn tours, cenote circuit visits, Celestún flamingo reserve, hacienda circuit, Ek' Balam ruins
• Partner with Mérida's best cultural and eco-tour operators
• Arrange in-hotel cultural programming — Yucatecan cooking classes, hammock weaving demonstrations, henequen history talks, mezcal and regional spirits tastings
• Book market tours — Mercado Lucas de Gálvez, Tlacolula weekly market, Mérida artisan markets
• Promote Mayan heritage experiences to culturally motivated guests
• Coordinate with concierge on individual guest activity requests

Requirements

• 2–4 years hospitality or cultural tourism coordination experience
• Deep Yucatán Peninsula knowledge — archaeological sites, cenotes, ecological reserves, cuisine
• Excellent English — essential in Mérida's international boutique hotel market
• Genuine passion for Mayan heritage, Yucatecan culture, and regional ecology
