Activities Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily resort activities program — beach volleyball, aqua aerobics, cooking classes, salsa dance lessons, craft workshops, cultural demonstrations
• Host and animate poolside and beach activities with genuine energy
• Coordinate eco-tour and excursion bookings in partnership with tour desk or concierge
• Adapt programming to seasonal activity portfolio — whale watching season (Dec–Mar), Marietas Islands tours, jungle activities
• Promote activities to guests daily
• Coordinate evening event programming — themed dinners, beach bonfires, cultural nights
• Bilingual hosting — Spanish and English

Requirements

• 1–3 years resort activities or animation experience
• High energy and natural hosting ability
• Excellent English
• Puerto Vallarta activity knowledge — marine, jungle, cultural
• Physical fitness

About the role

The conductor of Puerto Vallarta's best day. A guest who shows up at the activities desk unsure what to do — and leaves with a morning whale watching tour, an afternoon salsa lesson, and a sunset sailing trip arranged — has had their vacation organized by the activities coordinator. That guest will come back to the activities desk every morning for the rest of the week.
