Live Music Performer / Musician

Responsibilities

• Perform live music sets in resort bar, lobby lounge, or restaurant — multiple daily sets
• Maintain repertoire appropriate to resort context — Latin, Caribbean, pop, acoustic covers
• Adapt set to guest demographics and time of day — daytime ambient vs. evening entertainment energy
• Engage with guests during and between sets — creating social atmosphere
• Coordinate with entertainment director on special event performances
• Maintain instrument quality and performance readiness

Requirements

• Professional musician — vocal or instrumental
• Repertoire appropriate to resort entertainment context
• Genuine stage presence and guest engagement ability
• Physical stamina for multiple daily performance sets
• Bilingual Spanish/English useful

Resort live music venues in Cancún. Performing in a Cancún resort — lobby bar, beach club, pool terrace — with an audience of guests who are on vacation and genuinely ready to enjoy themselves is one of the more receptive performance environments in Mexico.
