Kids Club Animador / Mini-Club Entertainer

Responsibilities

• Plan and run daily kids club programming for ages 4–12 — arts and crafts, treasure hunts, poolside games, face painting, dance sessions, Mexican culture activities
• Host and animate children's activities with consistent enthusiasm and warmth throughout full shift
• Supervise children's safety at all times during club activities
• Communicate clearly with parents on child activities, wellbeing, and participation
• Coordinate with resort activities team on family-wide programming — family Olympics, kids talent shows, themed evenings
• Maintain kids club facility — toys, craft supplies, activity equipment
• Apply child safety protocols and age-appropriate behavior management
• Adapt activities for diverse age groups simultaneously — 4-year-olds and 12-year-olds require different approaches

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children — kids club, school, camp, childcare
• Genuine warmth and patience with children of all ages
• High energy maintained consistently throughout shift — children respond to energy level immediately
• Excellent English — Cancún family resort children are predominantly North American
• Basic first aid or willingness to certify
• Professional conduct with parents — the animador is the face of the resort for every family with children

Work environment

Kids club facility and resort outdoor areas in a Cancún all-inclusive. Working with children in a resort environment — pool, beach, activities center — is physically active, emotionally engaging, and continuously demanding.
