Kids Club Animador

Responsibilities

• Plan and run daily children's activities for ages 4–12 — Riviera Maya eco-crafts, Mayan culture activities, cenote treasure hunts, coral reef art projects, dance and music sessions
• Host all activities with genuine enthusiasm and warmth across mixed European and North American family groups
• Provide multilingual communication where possible — English essential, French or Italian an advantage
• Supervise children's safety throughout all activities
• Communicate clearly with parents in English and as many languages as possible
• Coordinate with resort activities team on family programming
• Maintain kids club facility and activity supplies

Requirements

• Previous children's programming experience — kids club, camp, school, childcare
• Genuine warmth and patience with children
• High energy maintained throughout shift
• Excellent English; French, Italian, or German a strong advantage in Playa's European market
• First aid certification or willingness to certify

About the role

The bridge between European children and Mexico's natural wonders. A French 9-year-old at a Playa del Carmen resort who spends the morning in the kids club learning about why cenotes are formed, what the Maya believed about them, and making a cenote-inspired art project — and then spends the afternoon actually swimming in one — has had one of the most memorable educational days of their childhood.
