Work environment
Kids club and resort outdoor areas in Playa del Carmen. The Riviera Maya's natural environment — cenotes, reef, Mayan ruins visible nearby — provides genuinely exciting educational material for children's programming.
About the role
The bridge between European children and Mexico's natural wonders. A French 9-year-old at a Playa del Carmen resort who spends the morning in the kids club learning about why cenotes are formed, what the Maya believed about them, and making a cenote-inspired art project — and then spends the afternoon actually swimming in one — has had one of the most memorable educational days of their childhood. The animador who created that connection is doing genuinely valuable work.
