Beach Attendant

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain beach area — lounge chairs, umbrellas, towel service, cleanliness throughout shift
• Greet guests and manage lounge chair assignments according to resort policy
• Provide towel service and beach amenity delivery — snorkel equipment rental, water sports coordination
• Monitor beach safety in coordination with lifeguard team — enforce safe zone boundaries
• Assist guests with water sports activities — kayak launch, paddleboard setup, equipment handling
• Maintain beach cleanliness throughout shift — collect used towels, clear trash, rake sand

Requirements

• Physical fitness for outdoor work in Caribbean heat and humidity
• Basic English communication for guest interaction
• Friendly, service-oriented attitude
• Ability to swim — beach environment safety awareness
• Previous hospitality or service experience preferred

The attendant who provides that is doing service work that directly determines whether guests recommend the property.
