Pool Attendant

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain resort pool area — lounge chairs, towel service, pool deck cleanliness
• Manage towel service throughout shift — distribution, exchange, inventory
• Assist guests with pool activities and amenities
• Coordinate with swim-up bar and F&B team on pool service
• Monitor pool area and enforce safety rules in coordination with lifeguard
• Maintain clean, organized pool deck throughout the day

Requirements

• Physical fitness and stamina for active outdoor shifts
• Friendly service orientation
• Basic English and/or European language communication
• Previous pool or hospitality experience preferred

About the role

The energy of the Riviera Maya pool. Playa's resort pools attract a more diverse, social international guest mix than almost any other resort corridor in Mexico. The pool attendant here works alongside guests from Argentina, Italy, Germany, Canada, and the US — often all in the same afternoon.
