Eco-Pool & Beach Attendant

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain beach and pool areas to eco-property standards — minimal footprint, no single-use plastic, organic cotton towels only
• Welcome guests in the unhurried, mindful tone that Tulum properties require — no scripted resort cheerfulness; genuine, calm, present interaction
• Manage cenote or natural pool care — no chemical treatments in cenote-fed pools, natural product maintenance
• Apply reef-safe sunscreen policy — inform guests of no-chemical sunscreen zones, provide property-approved alternatives
• Coordinate with wellness team on pool and beach programming — sound baths, yoga by the water, meditation sessions at pool edge
• Maintain beach area with minimal environmental impact — organic bamboo furniture, biodegradable amenities

Requirements

• Genuine eco-values alignment — Tulum's guest base immediately identifies performative environmentalism
• Calm, mindful service presence — the Tulum attendant's demeanor should match the property's conscious hospitality ethos
• Physical fitness for outdoor work in Caribbean humidity
• Basic English — Tulum guests are predominantly international; European and North American
• Previous eco-hotel or wellness resort experience strongly preferred
