Yoga & Wellness Instructor

Responsibilities

• Lead morning yoga and wellness classes on rooftop terrace, courtyard, or dedicated studio
• Brief arriving guests on altitude acclimatization — SMA at 1,870m affects breath and energy for the first 24–48 hours
• Adapt instruction intensity for altitude conditions — guests unfamiliar with high altitude need modified first sessions
• Conduct private yoga and meditation sessions on request
• Coordinate with hotel wellness programming on retreat packages
• Connect with San Miguel's established yoga community for visiting teacher collaborations

Requirements

• Yoga certification (RYT 200 minimum)
• 2–3 years yoga instruction experience
• Knowledge of altitude-adapted yoga and breathwork — SMA-specific relevance
• Excellent English — the primary instruction language in SMA wellness programming
• Warm, professional manner appropriate to SMA's boutique character
