Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function for a Guadalajara four-star or five-star hotel: manage a small accounting team (2–4 people), own the hotel's monthly financial close, and produce the P&L, budget variance, and ownership report package that Guadalajara hotel ownership or management groups require
• Own the hotel's SAT fiscal compliance program: manage the monthly IVA declaration, the ISR provision, the SAT CFDI compliance for all revenue and expense, and the relationship with the external fiscal advisor — in Guadalajara's professional business environment, the fiscal compliance standard is as high as CDMX for audit preparedness
• Develop and manage the annual hotel budget: coordinate with the General Manager and department heads on the revenue budget, cost structure plan, and capital expenditure recommendations — the Guadalajara hotel's budget must account for the FIL and Expo convention demand spikes, the shoulder season softness, and the technology corridor corporate travel baseline
• Manage the MICE and group event financial performance analysis: the Guadalajara MICE hotel's financial performance depends on the profitability of its group business — the Finance Manager produces the event profitability analysis (revenue versus catering, AV, staffing, and hotel room cost) that guides the Sales team's event pricing and space allocation decisions
• Coordinate the annual PTU, Infonavit, and Fonacot compliance cycle for the hotel's full workforce
• Build and develop the accounting team to the standard required for a Guadalajara professional hotel employer

Requirements

• Finance Manager or Hotel Controller experience; Guadalajara or major Mexican city hotel preferred
• Full SAT compliance management (IVA, ISR, CFDI)
• MICE event profitability analysis
• Team leadership and annual budget management
• CONTPAQi ERP management; English and Spanish bilingual
