Administration & SupportPayroll Analyst
Five-star hotel, Polanco, Reforma, or Santa Fe, CDMX
Mexico City
Fixed monthly + transport subsidy
Responsibilities
- Execute the biweekly payroll for a CDMX five-star hotel (200–600 employees): manage the complete payroll cycle from attendance and overtime input validation through net pay calculation, CFDI de nómina timbrado, payroll review and approval routing, and bank transfer execution — with the mathematical precision and audit trail documentation that a CDMX SAT compliance environment requires
- Manage the NOM-035 psychosocial risk management cost accounting: the CDMX NOM-035 compliance program generates training costs, assessment costs, and action plan implementation costs — the payroll analyst accounts for these correctly in the HR cost center
- Calculate the CDMX minimum wage zone payroll compliance: Mexico City has the highest minimum wage tier (Zona Libre de la Frontera Norte excepted) — the payroll analyst ensures that every employee's base salary meets the CDMX minimum wage floor and that the payroll calculation correctly reflects the annual minimum wage update in January
- Manage the transport subsidy payroll component: the CDMX five-star hotel's transport subsidy (MXN 550–700/month depending on role) is a standard employment benefit — the payroll analyst tracks entitlement, manages changes, and processes the transport subsidy as a taxable or non-taxable component in the correct ISR treatment
- Process IMSS CDMX zone alta/baja with the highest volume and deadline precision: CDMX's IMSS regional office has the highest inspection frequency in Mexico — the payroll analyst processes every IMSS movement within the 5-business-day window without exception and maintains the IMSS movement history in audit-ready format
- Produce the monthly payroll cost report by department for the Finance Manager: the CDMX hotel's department head structure requires a payroll cost report by cost center that the Finance Manager uses for the monthly P&L departmental labor cost analysis

- Hotel or high-volume payroll experience in Mexico; CDMX employer preferred
- CFDI de nómina (payroll digital invoice) timbrado and SAT compliance
- IMSS CDMX zone alta/baja and SUA compliance

Work environment
Payroll analyst at a CDMX five-star hotel. High-volume biweekly payroll with CFDI de nómina compliance, IMSS CDMX zone management, and department cost reporting in Mexico City's most compliance-intensive hotel payroll environment.
About the role
The CDMX five-star hotel payroll analyst who processes the December payroll — which includes the biweekly salary payment, the December 20 aguinaldo payment (15 days of salary for every employee), and the first payroll of January with the new SAT income tax table — who executes three distinct payroll events in 30 days without error, who delivers every CFDI de nómina timbrado to every employee on the payment date, who closes the December IMSS SUA payment before the holiday cutoff — has managed the most complex 30-day payroll calendar in the Mexican fiscal year. The December payroll is when the employee's financial security is most visible. The payroll analyst who delivers it accurately is the most appreciated professional in the building on December 20.
