  • Manage the accounting operations for a CDMX five-star hotel: own specific accounting areas (revenue accounting, AP, or cost accounting) within a hotel finance team, or manage the complete accounting function for a boutique luxury hotel as the senior accounting professional
  • Own the SAT CFDI compliance program for hotel revenue: manage all CFDI emission for room revenue, F&B revenue, event revenue, and other income; verify all CFDI received from suppliers; maintain the digital archive; and support the Finance Manager on the monthly IVA, ISR provision, and annual ISR calculation with the fiscal advisor

Work environment

Senior accountant at a CDMX five-star hotel. SAT compliance management, corporate client billing, revenue reconciliation, and departmental P&L analysis in Mexico City's most professionally demanding hotel accounting environment.

About the role

The CDMX hotel senior accountant who manages the Q4 corporate client billing cycle — who processes 80 corporate CFDI facturas in the final week of December for the corporate travel managers whose fiscal year closes on December 31, who ensures every factura carries the correct RFC, clave de uso, and addenda that each corporate client's procurement system requires, who delivers every factura before December 31 with the confirmation the corporate client needs for their end-of-year tax deduction — has delivered the service that keeps the corporate relationship at the renewal stage. The corporate travel manager whose December billing is correct, complete, and on time recommends the hotel to their CFO for next year's preferred supplier agreement. The senior accountant who delivers the billing is the invisible link in that commercial relationship.
