Work environment
IT Manager at a large Cancún all-inclusive resort or hotel group. Full technology function leadership including PMS management, cybersecurity program, infrastructure oversight, and technology vendor portfolio management for one of Mexico's highest-occupancy hotel IT environments.
About the role
The Cancún resort IT Manager who presents the 3-year technology investment plan to the General Manager and ownership — who shows the PCI-DSS compliance assessment results, the Wi-Fi infrastructure utilization data showing the current network at 94% capacity in peak occupancy, and the business case for the Wi-Fi upgrade investment that will support the resort's digital experience strategy for the next 5 years — who receives approval for the MXN 3.2M infrastructure investment — is doing IT leadership in its strategic form. The Cancún resort that provides the fastest, most reliable Wi-Fi in the Hotel Zone will earn it in the guest satisfaction surveys. The IT Manager who makes the business case for the infrastructure that delivers it converts technology investment into a commercial differentiator.
