Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso drinks and coffee menu for Mérida's growing specialty café market
• Incorporate local Yucatecan ingredients — melipona honey lattes, vanilla-infused drinks
• Serve international guests and Meridanos with warm, professional café service
• Manage café station and cleanliness in Mérida's heat — temperature management of milk is important
• Prepare iced coffee drinks suited to Mérida's hot climate — cold brew, iced lattes are essential here

Requirements

• 1–3 years barista experience
• Espresso and cold coffee technique — iced drinks are dominant in Mérida's climate
• Knowledge of or interest in Yucatecan local ingredients
• English for international guests
