Responsibilities
- Lead café team and maintain coffee quality standards
- Calibrate espresso grinders daily and adjust for weather and bean age
- Train baristas in extraction, milk technique, and guest service
- Manage green coffee sourcing or relationships with roasters
- Handle café operations — inventory, scheduling, cost of goods
- Develop seasonal beverage menu
- Represent café at community coffee events and cuppings
Requirements
- 4–6 years specialty barista experience with leadership
- Deep coffee knowledge — origin, processing, roasting, extraction
- SCA certification (Q Grader or Barista Skills) is an advantage
- Team management ability
