Responsibilities

• Serve specialty coffee to Playa's large digital nomad and remote worker community
• Manage café environment that functions as co-working space — WiFi, power, comfortable seating
• Execute all-day coffee service — morning espresso rush through afternoon filter coffee
• Maintain quiet, productive café atmosphere while being socially welcoming
• Engage long-stay guests who become regulars within days

Requirements

• 1–2 years barista experience
• Understanding of the café-as-office dynamic — knowing when to engage and when to leave guests to their work
• English — digital nomad clientele is predominantly English-speaking
• Consistent, reliable quality throughout long service shifts
