Responsibilities

  • Answer in-room dining phone lines and take guest food and beverage orders
  • Enter orders accurately into POS system and coordinate with kitchen and delivery team
  • Communicate estimated delivery times to guests
  • Handle special dietary requests, modifications, and VIP preferences
  • Coordinate with butlers and front office on special room setups
  • Manage order queue during peak periods — resort breakfast peak can involve dozens of simultaneous orders

Requirements

  • 1–2 years hospitality or customer service experience
  • Clear, professional telephone voice and manner
  • English — essential for North American resort guests
  • Organized, detail-oriented — accurate order taking is critical
  • Familiarity with hotel POS systems helpful
