Work environment
Resort IRD coordination center. The order taker role is an office-adjacent hospitality position — telephone-based, organized, requiring communication skill more than physical service.
About the role
The voice before the door. The order taker is the first contact a guest has with room service — the voice that takes their order, quotes delivery time, and makes them feel cared for before anyone knocks on their door. That voice sets the expectation for everything that follows.
