Club Caddie & Pro Shop Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide caddie service across 18 holes at 1,560m altitude: the Guadalajara altitude provides a moderate performance advantage over sea level (3–5% more ball carry) — the experienced caddie communicates this accurately in club selection and builds a reputation for reliable, useful course management advice
• Assist with pro shop operations during off-caddie periods: retail display maintenance, inventory management, equipment rental check-out, and club member check-in
• Manage the club's bag storage and locker facilities: member bag tags, storage rotation, periodic bag cleaning, and equipment maintenance
• Coordinate weekend tournament setup: the Guadalajara club calendar includes regular competitions — scoring systems, tee marker placement, and competition documentation are managed by the pro shop team with caddie assistance
• Build member relationships over time: the Guadalajara private club caddie has a genuinely stable long-term client base — members play year-round and the caddie relationship develops over seasons
• Assist with equipment cleaning and club workshop for minor grip replacements and cleaning

Requirements

• Golf knowledge and caddie experience
• Jalisco club culture — the Tapatío social context is distinct; relationship management and personal warmth are core professional qualities
• Spanish native; basic English for any visiting foreign guests of members
• Physical fitness for 18-hole bag work at Guadalajara's temperate altitude
• Pro shop retail basic competency
