Pro Shop Assistant & Golf Operations Staff

Responsibilities

• Manage pro shop retail operations: the Los Cabos golf pro shop carries premium branded apparel, FootJoy and Ecco footwear, Titleist, Callaway, and TaylorMade equipment and accessories — maintain inventory, process sales, manage stock levels, and coordinate with the Director of Golf on seasonal buying
• Coordinate tee time reservations and starting sheet management: the Los Cabos resort course operates a complex tee time system serving hotel guests, resort members, and external public play allocation — the pro shop manages this system with hotel front office communication and online booking platform management
• Manage golf cart fleet: cart assignment, charge level monitoring, cart cleaning and inspection, and coordination with the maintenance department on mechanical issues
• Coordinate group and tournament operations: Los Cabos attracts large corporate and incentive golf groups — the pro shop team manages scoring systems, sponsor signage, tournament registration, and prize distribution
• Provide equipment rental service: premium rental sets (Titleist, Callaway), GPS device rentals, shoe and glove rentals — the Los Cabos rental service must present at a quality level consistent with the green fee being paid
• Greet guest arrivals at the pro shop: the pro shop is the first golf-specific guest contact — professional English welcome, scheduling confirmation, and resort cart/caddie coordination set the tone for the guest's round

Requirements

• Golf retail or golf operations experience
• English fluency — the primary guest communication is English with North American and European guests
• Point-of-sale system and inventory management
• Knowledge of premium golf equipment brands and fittings
• Professionalism appropriate for an ultra-luxury resort environment
