Club Caddie & Bag Room Staff

Responsibilities

• Provide caddie service to club members across 18 holes at 2,240m altitude: altitude affects both the ball and the member's physical energy over a round — the experienced CDMX caddie knows how the altitude affects ball flight (5–8% more carry than sea level) and communicates accurate club selections accordingly
• Build and maintain member relationships: CDMX private club caddies often carry for the same members for years; the member who feels their caddie genuinely knows their game and preferences is a loyal, consistent client
• Manage bag room operations: club cleaning, bag storage, member equipment tracking, and cart management
• Provide seismic event protocol awareness: the caddie's responsibility during a significant earthquake is to stop all activity and guide guests to open ground away from trees and cart paths — this protocol is a standard competency for all CDMX golf operations staff
• Support club tournament operations: the CDMX private clubs host member championships, inter-club competitions, and charity tournaments — the caddie team is central to these operations
• Assist with equipment rental for guest players accompanying members

Requirements

• Golf caddie experience; CDMX course knowledge preferred
• Domestic Mexican golf culture understanding — the CDMX private club environment is distinctly Mexican in social dynamics
• Physical fitness for 18-hole bag work at 2,240m altitude (aerobic demand is higher at altitude)
• Spanish fluent; English functional for any guest player communication
• Discretion and professionalism appropriate for a private members club
