Concierge & Guest Experience Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Serve as dedicated concierge and guest experience coordinator for a boutique Cancún luxury property: the concierge role in a boutique hotel is closer to the butler role than in a large resort — with fewer guests, the concierge knows each guest personally and manages their complete stay experience
• Curate local experience recommendations with honest personal knowledge: cenote tours in the Riviera Maya corridor, Isla Mujeres day trip timing (early ferry to beat the afternoon crowds), authentic Yucatecan cuisine in El Centro (not the Hotel Zone tourist zone), and the specific restaurants in Puerto Morelos that the Cancún concierge community recommends to guests who want genuine local seafood
• Manage transportation logistics: airport transfers, taxi coordination for El Centro dining, shuttle bookings for Chichén Itzá or Cobá day trips, and the timing guidance that protects the guest from the traffic patterns that an inexperienced Cancún visitor would not anticipate
• Coordinate activity booking: catamaran tours, deep-sea fishing charters, cenote snorkeling, and cultural day trips — the boutique property concierge manages the complete activity experience including preparation guidance and post-activity check-in
• Handle special occasion coordination: anniversary dinners at specific Isla Mujeres restaurants, in-room surprises, couples' spa packages, and the Cancún sunset dinner cruise options that match different romantic occasion needs
• Maintain relationships with the activity and tour provider community: the concierge's value is directly linked to the quality of their supplier network — the providers they recommend are a reflection of the property's standards

Requirements

• Concierge or guest relations experience
• English fluency; Spanish native; ideally a European language
• Extensive Cancún and Riviera Maya local knowledge
• Reservation and booking management
• Natural warmth and service orientation
