Guest Experience & Concierge Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete guest experience at a Puerto Vallarta boutique hotel as the primary guest contact: in a property of 15–40 rooms, the coordinator is simultaneously the concierge, the guest relations officer, and in some cases the front desk — the role is broad and relationship-intensive
• Curate the Puerto Vallarta arts and cultural experience with genuine personal knowledge: the gallery scene on the Malecon (several internationally recognized galleries with resident Puerto Vallarta artists), the Huichol art center in the Hotel Zone, the ceramic and textile artisan market timing, and the specific culinary experiences in Zona Romántica that the boutique guest will appreciate
• Coordinate the Marietas Islands biosphere reserve access: permits are limited and must be secured in advance — the coordinator who has standing relationships with SEMARNAT-authorized operators provides access to a limited experience that adds significant value to the PVR stay
• Manage the expat and returning guest relationship: PVR has a large expat community and a high repeat guest rate — the boutique hotel coordinator maintains returning guest profiles and ensures the returning guest feels genuinely recognized, not just processed
• Handle the special occasion portfolio for the boutique romantic market: the boutique PVR hotel serves a significant honeymoon and anniversary demographic — the coordinator manages floral setup, private dining on the terrace, and the specific requests of couples who are celebrating in one of Mexico's most romantic cities
• Coordinate with local artist community for in-hotel cultural events: many PVR boutique hotels host small gallery events, mezcal tastings with local producers, and cultural evenings — the coordinator manages these events from planning to guest communication

Requirements

• Concierge or guest experience coordination experience; boutique hotel experience preferred
• English and Spanish bilingual; ideally a European language
• Genuine Puerto Vallarta cultural and culinary knowledge with personal conviction
• Natural warmth aligned with PVR's hospitality culture
