Work environment
Colonial boutique hotel in Mérida. The city's restored henequen-era mansions and haciendas create one of Mexico's most distinctive hospitality environments — working in a 19th-century casa colonial with interior courtyard, Moorish tile, and stained glass is a specific pleasure.
About the role
Guardian of the gateway to the Mayan world. The Mérida concierge who tells a guest "wake at 4:30am, there is a van at 5:00am, you will arrive at Chichén Itzá an hour before the tourists and watch the sunrise illuminate El Castillo alone — I have made the reservation" — has given them the most memorable morning of their Mexico trip.
