Front Desk Agent / Receptionist

Responsibilities

• Handle all check-in, checkout, and guest services for boutique property
• Provide multilingual service — English mandatory; European language a strong advantage
• Act as neighborhood concierge — 5th Avenue restaurant recommendations, cenote tours, ferry to Cozumel
• Handle all guest communications — email, WhatsApp, phone, in-person
• Coordinate with small hotel team on operations
• Build genuine relationships with guests during their stay

Requirements

• 1–3 years front desk or hospitality experience
• English fluency — mandatory
• French, Italian, or German is a significant advantage in Playa's market
• Knowledge of Playa del Carmen's neighborhood — guests rely on front desk for local guidance
• Warm, personalized service manner
