Night Auditor / Overnight Front Desk Agent

Responsibilities

• Perform end-of-day financial reconciliation for boutique colonial property
• Balance front desk, breakfast, and extras billing
• Handle late check-ins — Mérida receives arriving guests connecting through Mexico City and Cancún with late arrivals
• Manage overnight guest communications and requests
• Coordinate with property security on overnight rounds
• Prepare morning shift handover report and arrivals folder
• Be the sole hotel staff presence overnight — requires composure and reliability

Requirements

• 2–3 years hotel front desk or accounting experience
• PMS software competency
• Strong numerical accuracy
• English — essential in Mérida's international boutique hotel market
• Self-sufficient, calm, reliable — the overnight shift in a Mérida colonial hotel requires a professional who is comfortable working alone
