Night Auditor

Responsibilities

• Perform end-of-day financial reconciliation — room revenue, F&B, minibar, parking, extras
• Balance all point-of-sale and front desk transactions from day and evening shifts
• Run nightly revenue and occupancy reports for management
• Handle overnight check-ins from late international arrivals — CDMX receives multiple transatlantic and US late-night flights
• Process express check-outs and early departure billing
• Identify and correct billing discrepancies before morning briefing
• Coordinate overnight security and maintenance response
• Prepare morning shift handover report and arrivals briefing

Requirements

• 2–4 years front desk or hotel accounting experience
• PMS software competency — Opera, Cloudbeds, or equivalent
• Strong numerical and billing accuracy
• Excellent English — CDMX business hotels handle international corporate guests overnight
• Self-directed, reliable, able to manage full overnight independently

Work environment

Hotel front desk and back office, overnight. CDMX business hotels receive late arrivals from London, Madrid, New York, Los Angeles — the night auditor is the first hotel contact for many international guests stepping off a transatlantic flight.

About the role
