Work environment
Colonial boutique hotel overnight in Oaxaca. Working alone overnight in a restored 18th-century Oaxacan casa — green-painted walls, carved stone doorways, bougainvillea in the courtyard — is a specific and beautiful working environment.
About the role
The keeper of the Oaxacan night. During Guelaguetza or Día de los Muertos, Oaxaca's boutique hotels run at 100% occupancy with guests arriving on late connecting flights. The night auditor who balances the day's accounts while handling a stream of midnight check-ins — keeping the books clean and the arrivals warm — is keeping one of Mexico's most beloved hotels running through its most important nights.
