Night Auditor

Responsibilities

• Perform end-of-day financial reconciliation — room revenue, restaurant charges, bar tabs, tours, extras
• Balance all front desk and POS transactions from day and evening shifts
• Run nightly occupancy and revenue reports
• Process late check-ins from US direct flights arriving after 10pm
• Handle early check-outs and overnight billing adjustments
• Coordinate with overnight security on property incidents
• Prepare morning shift handover and day arrival briefing

Requirements

• 2–3 years front desk or hotel accounting experience
• Hotel PMS software — Opera, Cloudbeds, or equivalent
• Numerical accuracy and billing competency
• English — essential in Puerto Vallarta's North American tourist market
• Self-directed and reliable overnight

About the role

Steady hands on the overnight shift. A US couple arriving at 11pm from Houston to Puerto Vallarta on a red-eye — who just want their room, their key, and a quick answer about breakfast time — deserves a night auditor who is alert, warm, and accurate at midnight. That combination is the entire job.
