Night Auditor / Overnight Front Desk Agent

Responsibilities

• Perform end-of-day financial reconciliation — room revenue, restaurant, bar, wedding-related extras, special occasion charges
• Balance all property transactions from day and evening shifts
• Handle late arrivals — SMA destination wedding guests and holiday travelers frequently arrive late
• Manage overnight guest requests at boutique or hacienda property
• Coordinate with property security
• Prepare morning shift handover, including wedding weekend arrival and logistics briefing
• Be the sole hotel staff presence overnight — requires reliable composure

Requirements

• 2–3 years front desk or hospitality accounting experience
• PMS software competency
• Numerical accuracy
• English fluency — mandatory in San Miguel's predominantly North American hotel market
• Professional composure during wedding weekends and holiday peaks
• Self-directed and reliable overnight

The calm overnight anchor during San Miguel's most emotional weekends. A destination wedding weekend at a San Miguel hacienda generates late arrivals, post-dinner guest needs, and the occasional logistical issue well past midnight. The night auditor who handles all of it — keeps the books accurate, manages the late-night wedding guests with warmth, and has a clean handover ready for the morning wedding coordinator — is doing invisible work that the entire wedding weekend depends on.
