Housekeeping Team Leader — Public Areas

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise public area cleaning team — pool deck, lobby, corridors, public restrooms, outdoor areas
• Assign zones and tasks to public area cleaners
• Conduct quality inspections of all public areas throughout shift
• Coordinate with housekeeping manager on special events and high-traffic periods
• Manage team during peak arrival and departure periods
• Train new public area staff on cleaning standards and procedures
• Handle immediate cleaning incidents and coordinate rapid response

Requirements

• 2–4 years hotel housekeeping experience including public area work
• Leadership capability for team management
• Organizational skill for zone assignment and coverage planning
• Physical stamina — public area supervisor role involves constant movement throughout property
• Reliable and professional
