Work environment
Colonial boutique hotel in Mérida. Managing housekeeping in a restored henequen-era mansion — with Talavera tile, stone courtyards, and ceiling fans — is a distinctive supervisory environment.
About the role
The caretaking leader of a heritage property. A Mérida colonial hotel housekeeping supervisor who trains their team to handle the handmade tile floors correctly, to dust the hand-painted furniture without scratching it, to open the courtyard shutters so the afternoon light falls exactly right — is building a standard that respects the building's 150-year history. That care is part of what makes Mérida's boutique hotels worth visiting.
