Responsibilities
- Manage entire housekeeping department — room attendants, linen room, laundry coordination, public area cleaning
- Develop and enforce housekeeping standards across all functions
- Manage department scheduling, staffing levels, and performance
- Control housekeeping department budget — linen replacement, amenity costs, chemical supplies
- Conduct regular department audits and training programs
- Coordinate with all hotel departments on housekeeping service delivery
- Handle complex guest complaints and quality escalations
- Report to hotel general manager on department performance
Requirements
- 5+ years hotel housekeeping experience including 2+ years in supervisory management
- Department-level leadership and organizational capability
- Budget management and cost-control understanding
- Strong Spanish; English useful for management meetings and international brand standards
- Professional leadership approach appropriate to department head role
