Responsibilities

  • Manage entire housekeeping department — room attendants, linen room, laundry coordination, public area cleaning
  • Develop and enforce housekeeping standards across all functions
  • Manage department scheduling, staffing levels, and performance
  • Control housekeeping department budget — linen replacement, amenity costs, chemical supplies
  • Conduct regular department audits and training programs
  • Coordinate with all hotel departments on housekeeping service delivery
  • Handle complex guest complaints and quality escalations
  • Report to hotel general manager on department performance

Requirements

  • 5+ years hotel housekeeping experience including 2+ years in supervisory management
  • Department-level leadership and organizational capability
  • Budget management and cost-control understanding
  • Strong Spanish; English useful for management meetings and international brand standards
  • Professional leadership approach appropriate to department head role
