Housekeeping Supervisor — Boutique Hotel

Responsibilities

• Supervise small housekeeping team (4–10 attendants) in Oaxacan boutique property
• Conduct personal room inspections — artisan object care is part of the quality standard
• Train attendants on Oaxacan boutique cleaning protocols — care for handwoven textiles, black clay pottery, natural floor surfaces
• Apply natural and low-impact cleaning product protocols consistent with Oaxacan eco-property values
• Coordinate with front desk on VIP arrivals and festival period guest preferences (Día de los Muertos, Guelaguetza)
• Manage organic amenity inventory — locally made soaps, regional welcome products
• Handle guest housekeeping complaints and resolve
• Manage team performance through festival season high-occupancy peaks

Requirements

• 2–4 years hotel housekeeping experience including supervisory capacity
• Genuine knowledge of and respect for Oaxacan craft and cultural materials
• Hands-on leadership for small team management
• English for international boutique guest market
