Laundry Attendant / Lavandero

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press resort linen and towels at industrial scale
• Operate commercial washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment
• Sort and track linen by department — housekeeping, F&B, spa, pool
• Identify and quarantine damaged, stained, or worn linen for supervisor review
• Manage linen inventory counts and requisition restocking
• Maintain laundry room equipment cleanliness and safety
• Meet daily linen production targets to support housekeeping turnover schedule

Requirements

• Previous laundry, industrial cleaning, or back-of-house experience helpful
• Physical stamina — laundry work involves lifting, carrying, and sustained standing
• Organized and able to manage volume sorting tasks efficiently
• Reliable attendance — laundry operations cannot absorb absenteeism without impacting housekeeping
