Laundry Attendant

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, and press hotel linen using appropriate methods for natural and artisan fabrics
• Handle Zapotec handwoven textiles, organic cotton, and natural dye fabrics with correct care
• Process guest laundry requests accurately
• Operate hotel laundry equipment
• Apply natural or low-impact cleaning products consistent with Oaxacan eco-property values
• Identify items requiring special handling or replacement
• Maintain equipment and safety standards

Requirements

• Previous laundry or textile experience helpful
• Care and respect for artisan textile materials — this is different from standard industrial laundry
• Physical stamina
• Organized with guest item tracking
• Reliable
