Public Area Cleaner — Colonial Hotel

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain colonial hotel public areas — lobby, corridors, interior courtyard, rooftop terrace, public restrooms
• Apply appropriate care to heritage surfaces — Talavera tile, carved stone floors, terracotta, colonial ironwork
• Maintain interior courtyard — sweeping stone floors, managing potted plants, fountain area
• Clean rooftop terrace and maintain seating areas
• Respond to cleaning needs throughout shift
• Maintain public restrooms to hotel standard

Requirements

• Previous hotel or domestic cleaning experience
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn heritage surface care — colonial flooring requires different products than standard tile
• Physical stamina in Mérida's heat — courtyard and rooftop work is outdoor and hot
• Professional manner
• Reliable
