Public Area Cleaner — Boutique Hotel / Hacienda

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hotel or hacienda public areas — lobby, corridors, interior courtyard, rooftop terrace, chapel or event area, public restrooms
• Apply appropriate care to colonial surfaces — Talavera tile, carved stone, iron furnishings, handmade plaster walls
• Maintain rooftop terrace to immaculate standard — SMA's most photographed hotel feature is typically the rooftop with Parroquia view
• Manage wedding weekend cleaning coordination — event area preparation, high-volume post-event cleaning
• Clean restaurant and bar common areas between services
• Maintain corridor and stairwell cleanliness throughout shift

Requirements

• Previous hotel or domestic cleaning experience
• Care with heritage and artisan surfaces
• Physical stamina — colonial buildings have staircases, rooftop access, and no elevator in most boutiques
• Professional manner in North American-facing guest environment
• Basic English helpful — SMA guests interact with cleaning staff more than in large resort properties
