Room Attendant / Camarista

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare assigned guest rooms to resort standard — typically 14–18 rooms per shift
• Strip and remake beds with resort-quality linen to exact specification
• Clean bathroom fully — toilet, shower, tub, sink, mirrors, floor, grout
• Restock minibar and all room consumables — towels, toiletries, coffee, water
• Inspect room for damage, missing items, or maintenance needs and report promptly
• Complete turndown service on late-departure rooms
• Follow resort housekeeping protocols for chemical handling and MSDS compliance
• Communicate room status to supervisor via radio or housekeeping system

Requirements

• Previous hotel or hospitality cleaning experience preferred but not required — resort training provided
• Physical stamina — room attendant work is physically demanding across a full shift
• Detail orientation — consistency across every room, every day
• Reliable attendance — housekeeping operations cannot absorb absenteeism
• Willingness to follow strict cleaning and safety protocols
