Room Attendant / Camarista — Luxury Resort

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare luxury resort rooms and suites to ultra-luxury standard — typically 10–14 rooms per shift
• Make beds to luxury specification — hospital corners, precise pillow arrangement, linen perfectly aligned
• Perform meticulous bathroom preparation — towel origami, amenity arrangement, mirror and fixture polish to no-streak standard
• Restock minibar, luxury amenity kit, and all room consumables
• Maintain terrace and outdoor furniture presentation
• Report maintenance issues and room condition via housekeeping system
• Complete luxury turndown service — bed preparation, ambient lighting, welcome card, evening amenity
• Follow all luxury property protocols for guest privacy and personal item handling

Requirements

• 2–3 years hotel housekeeping experience
• Demonstrated ability to meet luxury presentation standards — this is not an entry-level posting
• Exceptional attention to detail — Los Cabos luxury guests inspect their rooms closely
• Physical stamina — luxury suites are larger than standard rooms
• Absolute discretion with guest personal property

Work environment

Ultra-luxury resort housekeeping in Los Cabos. The rooms being cleaned here — oceanfront suites, cliffside villas, swim-up rooms — are among the most spectacular hotel rooms in Mexico. Working in these spaces is a different experience than standard hotel housekeeping.

About the role

A Los Cabos luxury guest who returns to their suite after a day on a yacht and finds the room turned down flawlessly — bed open, soft lighting, terrace furniture arranged, a handwritten card, and the towel animal on the pillow — has received something that cost nothing extra but required genuine skill.
