Work environment
Colonial boutique hotel in Mérida. Working in a restored henequen-era mansion — courtyard with tropical plants, wicker furniture, carved stone arches — is one of the most distinctive hotel working environments in Mexico.
About the role
The caretaker of a living piece of Yucatán heritage. A Mérida colonial hotel is not just an accommodation — it is a restored mansion that tells the story of Yucatán's 19th-century henequen era. The room attendant who tends it carefully, who polishes the Talavera tile without scratching it, who opens the shuttered window to let in the morning air — is caring for something that has survived 150 years and deserves to last another 150.
