Room Attendant / Housekeeper — Eco-Lodge

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare eco-lodge palapas and jungle rooms using organic, biodegradable products
• Make beds with natural linen and organic cotton bedding to eco-lodge specification
• Clean bathroom — composting toilet if applicable, rain shower, bamboo or natural fixtures
• Restock eco-amenity kit — organic soaps, shampoos, natural insect repellent, aloe vera
• Handle open-air room specifics — sweep of jungle debris, screen door maintenance, natural ventilation management
• Report maintenance issues on eco-property — particularly structural, water, and wildlife-related
• Apply Tulum eco-cleaning protocols — no harsh chemicals, minimal water usage

Requirements

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience helpful
• Genuine comfort in eco/jungle environment — working in open-air palapas with natural surroundings
• Alignment with eco-values — Tulum properties expect staff to genuinely share sustainability principles
• Physical stamina — eco-properties have more walking between rooms than conventional hotels
• Reliable and detail-oriented
