Chinese Restaurant Chef

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen for Chinese restaurant serving Playa's tourist and expat market
• Execute Chinese menu — fried rice, lo mein, General Tso's chicken, dim sum selections, hot and sour soup
• Manage wok station and Chinese kitchen production
• Source Chinese pantry ingredients from Cancún specialty suppliers
• Maintain consistency at tourist-restaurant volume

Requirements

• 3–5 years kitchen experience with Chinese cuisine background
• Wok mastery
• Understanding of tourist market Chinese food adaptations
