Dishwasher

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwasher during restaurant service hours
• Wash and sanitize pots, pans, and cooking equipment
• Keep kitchen back-of-house clean during and between services
• Manage glass and china handling with care — Playa restaurants use quality service ware
• Support kitchen team with cleaning tasks
• Assist with kitchen close-down cleaning

Requirements

• No experience required
• Physical stamina
• Reliability — Playa del Carmen's restaurant density means kitchen jobs are competitive but dishwasher positions are consistently available

About the role

A Quinta Avenida restaurant kitchen runs at pace. During high season, service is essentially continuous from breakfast through late night. The dishwasher who keeps up with that pace, maintaining a flow of clean plates, is the reason service never stops.
