Prep Cook

Responsibilities

• Execute full prep list for restaurant kitchen
• Prepare Pacific seafood mise en place — cleaning shrimp, filleting fish, opening clams, portioning catch
• Produce salsas, marinades, and cold prep items
• Support line cooks with station preparation
• Maintain clean prep area and proper food storage
• Assist with receiving and storage organization

Requirements

• Basic knife skills and seafood preparation experience helpful
• Culinary school students welcome
• Physical pace — Zona Romántica restaurants run at high volume in high season
