Food Runner / Service Assistant

Responsibilities

• Run plates between kitchen and guest areas — including outdoor jungle and beach tables common in Tulum
• Navigate Tulum's outdoor dining environments — uneven terrain, candle-lit paths, open-air structures
• Communicate dish descriptions and ingredient information to guests
• Support service team with beverage service and table care
• Maintain composure in Tulum's aesthetic environment — service here is part of a designed experience

Requirements

• Physical grace and steadiness — carrying plates on uneven jungle paths is a real physical skill
• English proficiency — Tulum's guest base is heavily international and predominantly English-speaking
• Calm, measured manner — Tulum's dining atmosphere is intentional and peaceful
• Knowledge of dish ingredients — wellness guests frequently ask about allergens and dietary content
