Hotel Gardener — All-Inclusive Resort

Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance of resort garden zones: mowing, edging, weeding, and pruning of tropical ornamental beds
• Irrigation system operation and monitoring — drip and sprinkler zones on programmed schedules
• Palm tree base maintenance and frond trimming to hotel presentation standard
• Application of fertilizers, soil amendments, and pest control products per resort IPM (Integrated Pest Management) schedule
• Maintain beach-adjacent planting zones with salt-tolerant species — sea grape, cocoplum, beach morning glory
• Prepare garden areas before and after hurricane season: secure containers, remove dead wood, assess plant stability

Requirements

• Gardening or grounds maintenance experience
• Basic irrigation system knowledge
• Physical fitness for outdoor work in tropical heat and humidity
• Willingness to work rotating weekend schedules
