Senior Gardener & Green Spaces Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate green space maintenance across 2–3 hotel properties in Guadalajara (Centro, Providencia, Zapopan zones)
• Plan and execute annual landscape refresh cycle: coordinate replanting windows with hotel calendar to minimize guest disruption
• Manage plant procurement from Jalisco nurseries: Zapopan and Tlaquepaque area nurseries supply a wide range of temperate and semi-tropical species appropriate for Guadalajara
• Oversee chemical input program: fertilizer, pest control, and herbicide use in compliance with STPS safety requirements
• Maintain fountain and water feature surrounds in colonial properties: algae management, planting around pool edges, care for aquatic plants in traditional fuentes
• Coordinate with events team on garden preparation for weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations hosted at hotel garden areas

Requirements

• 3+ years hotel landscaping with coordination experience
• Knowledge of Jalisco climate plant palette
• Event support landscaping experience preferred
• Nursery procurement and coordination ability
